SMART Board Technology and classroom computer work-stations & internet access!

Our Lady of Guadalupe has come a long way in the area of technology. Our 6th grade Science classroom was blessed with a SMART Board. This state of the art equipment is an incredible instructional tool that exposes our students to infinite learning possibilities. This touch sentitive board is a chalk-board size computer screen that is connected to a laptop wirelessly and to a projector. Students can physically perform operations by simply touching the screen. Virtual Science labs, Powerpoint presentations, and numerous other applications have already been put to good use by our 6th-8th grade students.
Thanks to a wonderful contribution by a generous donor, we have also been blessed with the complete networking on a secure server of 30 brand new Dell computer workstations. This is a complete fiber-optic network. An advanced filtering system keeps our network safe and secure.
