Welcome Scientists!

Hello to all the OLG Rosehill scientists! I just wanted to introduce myself, Miss Dixon, as the sixth grade teacher and middle school science teacher for Our Lady of Guadalupe-Rosehill. I’m excited to be sharing my passion of science with all of my students. Additionally, I am also pumped to be part of this technology boost that our school has received, from this new website to the amazing computers to the blessing of the SmartBoard and beyond!
My vision for this sixth grade page is to have a source for all the things you may need to know or want to know about being in middle school, especially in science. I’m going to start by posting a few links to some of my most favorite science web pages, with the hopes that you may get inspired!

- National Geographic Kids: A great place to find anything you want to know about nature and news around the world, plus check out the games!
- Science Buddies: The best site for getting help with your science fair project. Due March 18, remember!
- Discovery Kids: My second favorite site about the world and animals- I love getting to play the games on this site as well.
Finally, I end with one of my favorite YouTube videos of my most favorite animals, the sea otter.
