Mission and Philosophy
Our mission is to create a vibrant and ideal Catholic school community. One that proudly serves our community and the families of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. One way our school is achieving this is by the participation in the National CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition.
Through this program we will strengthen our mission of educating our students and providing them a strong foundation in making character decisions for their future. The program is comprised of students from grades K-7. Eighth grade students will lead groups in lessons on character building based on the Six Pillars of Character:
Citizenship
Trustworthiness
Respect
Caring
Fairness
Responsibility
Faculty and staff will also be joining in the program by attending workshops to receive formal training on teaching character through their lessons and activities. Through this program we know that it will enrich our students lives and bring out the excellence of our educational program.
